Lions Mane (Hericium erinaceus): Lion’s mane mushrooms contain terpenoids called hericenones (derived from the fruiting body; the furry part) and erinacines (derived from the mycelia), which have been shown to stimulate the synthesis of nerve growth factor (NGF), known to promote neuronal growth and repair.
